Once you are finished reading the book, rewrite a new ending to the story. Think about what the problem was, and a new way to solve it. Type it in the comment section. At the end of the third quarter of the championship game the Lions were beating the eagles, 6-0. In the fourth quarter each teams defense was able to hold the other team's offense. With one second left in the game, Scott went back to drop kick the ball. Scott faked the drop kick and pitched it to Chris! Chris dropped back and threw it to Scott who had run to the end zone. It was a touchdown!!!!! Then Scott kicked the extra point and he was so, so happy. The Eagles won the championship 7-6.
ReplyDeleteIn the third quarter the lions were winning 3-0. Nobody else scored in the third. In the 4th with 10 seconds left, Chris forgot about all of Scott's skills and threw for it. The thing is Jimmy didn't catch it. Oh well, even though they didn't win the championship, they still tried.
ReplyDeleteDuring the third quarter it was 6 to 6 nobody else got another touchdown during the third quarter. In the fourth quarter Chris dropped back through it 40 yards to Jimmy Dolan. He caught it and he ran to the 40,30,20,10,5,inches and to the north about 50 yards away lightning struck and the game was called off. I guess they can try again next year.
